I didn't see very much...they looked ok. I'm not sure what to think. I guess we won't really know anything until Saturday when the competition ratchets up a bit.

I must be bitter about something...
For the 2nd straight game I found myself rooting AGAINST Team USA.
I don't know, maybe my dislike of jerks like Kobe and D-Wade have caused me to turn...then again, maybe it's my dark-side as a former Democrat... Whatever it is, I found myself rooting for China and Angola...have I come to the point of hating the NBA so much that I can't root for my own country. I actually think I hate this team more than I hate the Lakers!!! Most likely Team USA will win it all and bring home the Gold, but it will be the one Gold that I will not care for. Maybe because Team USA SHOULD win the Gold that it doesn't mean anything. Win the Gold in Gymnastics or Men's Soccer and you might have a story...but Basketball, give me a break. |
