Basketball?

This is a Basketball website, but how many of you actually play basketball yourself on an atleast somewhat regular basis?

I just started playin again, every day, about 2 weeks ago? I was pretty supprised at how little rust I had. Although I think I've become pretty much a one-dimensional player since about 7-10 years ago [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] .

Just joined a health club with indoor basketball (hell yeah) so I plan to start playing regularly again here real soon. No excuses for not playing because of weather, time of day anymore (damn) [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] About my only saving grace in this sport is free throw shooting, I'm about as graceful as a drunk camel when it comes to actually playing...

I play as much as possible.

Sometimes that might be once in two weeks. Sometimes it might be everyday for two weeks. When I win the lottery, I'm going to build myself a fieldhouse-style gym to play in every damn day. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

3 days a week at lunch on campus. 2 nights a week with friends for some longtime games that I've played in for 6-7 years.

Played from 10 to 20 yrs old. Can't play anymore. Still in my blood. Wish I could turn back the clock.........to the womb...those X's &amp; y's. Female....love being a female, it's toooo much fun. Catch 22, love playing ball, shoulda been a male.

I know how you feel Kat.
I played from 10 - 16. 4-5 times a week with 6 hours of training on top of that. I'd still love to play, I just don't like having to play with girls.
I think I'd laugh at how bad I was if I tried again!

I used to play alot (nearly every day) when I was younger. The highest league I played in was 4th league (Oberliga) in germany. I was on the roster of a third league (Regionalliga) club for one year at the age of 21, but that was when my knee problems started, so I didn´t see much pt. I spent one year running from one doc to another but none could help me, so I quit organized ball (strange enough I´m able to do other sports without having any problems like TaekWonDo for a few years now). I still play pickup games though, maybe once a week.
