Given the way we've been playing 2nd halves lately, I'm not excited.

I prefer a Timeout than a momentum killing turnover.

Mavs on their heels on every defensive possession. As soon as they also start bricking their 3s, it'll get ugly.

I'm with you Rick41. Maybe they stop the half time bong party tonight.

JET never shoots an airball.
These Nuggets announcers need to check themselves.

Dumb announcers. It was a clear foul against Terry, Afflalo hit his arm. Pure homers.

We could've had a dunk at the end of the quarter...well at least we're playing well.

I wouldn't say never, but it was a clear foul. The announcers need to take off their homer glasses.

Dirk probably could have backed Rudy down some more and forced the double or the foul.
Playing well so far but boy the Mavs missed an opportunity to be up by 15-20 points with some carelessness at the end of the quarter.

Deron standing speechless and shaking his head. 34/7 but his teammates playing like ass and throwing the game away. He is so done with the Nets without Dwight.

Btw, is Corey Brewer hurt? I wonder if the Mavs gave him his ring.

His father passed away, he's out with the family.

I was being sarcastic about the air ball thing.

His father died, not with the team currently.
Mavs continue to play mediocre defense at best. Especially don't like Dirk in the last games. Thought he took a step forward last year, but no signs of that so far.
As a team they overhelp way too much. Dunno if they think they have to, but clever teams will always find the open guy.

at least the Mavs managed to get it back to double digits at half... RC should show them some video footage of their recent 3rd quarter turnovers to wake them up in HT. Please dont dope up on valium again during the break Mavericks

One thing at a time. Just a couple of weeks ago he couldn't move, therefore couldn't shoot, etc.
When his offense rolls around, his defense will pick up as well. Sure it can be the opposite but it aint defense as to why the Mavs have been losing. The offense has been horrendous.

That's too easy. Against Cleveland and also tonight they had their offense going and could have build up an even greater lead with solid defense.
And letting Cleveland hang around didn't exactly help them.

Averaging 35 points in the second halves is what has killed them.
You can't score that little and expect to win ball games.
