Dirk with a Harden-esque line. 1-3 from the field, but 7-7 from FTs

Atlanta must be the Mavs of the East. We have shot 30% to their 49%, they have 6 3's and 40% to our 3 and 23%. They have Rebound edge and assist edge and we are down by 5.

Sure looked like Teague shuffled his feet after he picked up his dribble there.

Man, the Hawks are annoying with their hipcheck/handcheck defense, but at least the refs are starting to call them for those

Well, we caught that 16 point lead in half.
I just don't think Dirk can be in a zone with the way they are playing/shooting the threes. Lots of times Dirk's zone received the pass for the three and Dirk just couldn't get out there in time

Down 7 after that mess? Easy win. RC is running out of guards for the 3 guard line up.

Rly glad Wes got some good shots in there to close the half but I rly wish RC would put Simba in to give him some rest. He played Wes the entire 1st quarter, and seems to do that a lot. He leads us in minutes played on the season. Wes is trending down on offense and Defense Idk why it would kill RC to put Simba(or someone else if the defense/length is not needed) in for 2-3 min to close a quarter and give Wes a good amount of rest between that and the end of quarter break.

Matthews is only 29. He can handle it. I just hope Matthews can stay hot. It's usually Williams and Dirk that hit the clutch shots. It'd be nice to have Matthews step up. I absolutely adored how he called the play for himself for that three and had zero hesitation.

Plus Rick would have to get into a fist fight with him to rest him.

Yeah I'd have no problem if he didn't look sluggish. I'm just not sure he's healthy enough to play 12 straight minutes chasing Korver through screen after screen. Since the start of January tho his individual defense has dropped from holding players to 4% under their average to just holding them to .5% under their average. His offense is down to 38%fg and 30% from 3. Just seems like hes trending down when if he was getting healthier hed be trending up. Like Parsons is healthier and is now shooting 51% fg and 43% from 3 since January. His defense allowed players to shoot 6% better than their average and now is all the way down to holding them to 1% worse than their average for the season after just the month of January.

Dallas just can't guard the three off the pass. Zone is hurting us.

Matthews, maybe you shouldn't leave Korver wide open in the corner? Just a thought.

Dont know if it was Rick or the players, but allowing that many unguarded threes is absolutely unforgivable and completely lost us all momentum. 8-2 run

Not on that possession they weren't. Matthews chased Korver across the court and left him when he thought Bazemore was going to kick it to the cutting Millsap.

RayRay please. Barea is exhausted and they figured out his tricks.
Exactly why JJ should never be a high minutes guy.
