Two Marines were killed and six others wounded today in a suicide bombing near Fallujah, where U.S. Marines are preparing to pull back so Iraqi forces can take over. "There was a car bomb that was in the vicinity of Camp Fallujah, some distance away from the actual city of Fallujah," a U.S. general said.

Weird. The note says the troops are pulling back but not withdrawing.

Some thing is for certain: things are not going easy there.

They are pulling back in preparation for an iraqi force to begin to take up the fallujah battle. The marines will be backup if needed. I'm not sure whether they are going to still have the place cordoned off or not. Here is a link talking about what is going on. This is a pretty cool site as it has some embedded journalists with the marines who are responsible for fallujah.
