Well, I hope that ends everyone's stupid fascination with Romo.

I'm loving him. I am trying not to get sucked into the Cowboys trap but I can't help it. I'm loving Brady James, Cason and Danztler. There are some of the usual suspects with guys like Ross, Bryant, and Roy Williams.

Spagnola is overhyping Romo, Romo needs more time.

Why does it seem like this week is about to turn into last week?

All week long i'm hearing how great thsi guy is. I'm not going to bash him just for his 2nd preseason effort but i'm not seeing what these guys are so hyped about. They were talking about this guy could even be starter.

With some QB's that light goes off and they just turn it on. When I keep hearing all these things about Romo , I keep thinking about Tom Brady for some reason. Hopefully it starts clicking for Romo.

RE: Preseason: Cowboys/Texans
I wouldnt quite call Galloway the best WR on the team, if he is this teams WR group is not very good. IMO, Bryant AND Glenn is better, and I would take either over Joey G.

What a catch by Randal Williams. They've been saying that he has been awesome in training camp, and I guess we saw what they have been raving about. I think he solidified his place on the team.

I heard on the radio that he won't be playing. He hasn't really even practiced with the guys yet

RE: Preseason: Cowboys/Texans
If this doesn't prove that Carter is the STARTER and Romo is the backup then I dont know what this shows. Hutch sucks, and should be cut. Let Clint be the 3rd stringer, he has showed me more than Hutch.

All I can go by is what I watched last season and Galloway was the best reciever on this team last season. Glenn was what a 3rd reciever for the Packers? Not taking anything away from him but I think Galloway is still a pretty good reciever in this league. Don't just judge him by this game.

Really really nice catch. Glad to see that Romo's confidence isn't completely destroyed tonight. After all, we do need a 3rd QB.

Last season Galloway may have been our best receiver, but I think Bryant will be better this year. Bryant was about as good as Galloway last year, and receivers usually make a quantum leap in their second year in the NFL.

Was it Randall Williams or Deveran Johnson who was the fastest player on this team? I know Deveran was cut but there is a reason why Randall is still here. Great size and hands like Tony said.

my take on Galloway being the best reciever on this team is that, yea he is the best reciever on this team, only thing is Galloway never gets the ball because of double coverages on him. AB does get alot of catches and he's usually the man with single coverage, and he's Quincey's favorite target. But i do think AB will be the better reciever over the course of this year.

Having your full name on your jersey is just weird, think if martin tuiasosopo had to put his full name on his jersey

Both feet down, Cundiff is our FG kicker as it stands now.

Remember when we used to have good kickers? Guess we're stuck w/Cundiff for another year.

I think Parcells should give Hutchinson the start next week and see what he does versus Pittsburgh.

RE: Preseason: Cowboys/Texans
Didnt you get enough of Hutch last week against Arizona? Hutchs days are numbered, he should be cut immediately. He showed NOTHING against Arizona, he had his chance and di nothing. He should be cut rather soon, hopefully after this game.

Oh wow, nice run. Did you see Parcells after that? That's the biggest smile I've ever seen him give. Smith's got a chance.

I agree. I just don't get it. WHy is Hutch not playing? Has he won the qb job? Is he not in the future plans of the Cowboys? I think I may be thinking to much into it and it may not mean a thing.

I thought the same thing. The annoucners brought up a good question. If you take 5 recievers who are they? THe obvious is Bryant, Galloway and Glenn. Who else? Only ones in the running for the last 2 or possibly 3 spots are Rambo, Randall Williams, Swinton and Smith. I may have forgot some people. I give Randall and Rambo those two spots. IF you can get 6 recievers I add Smith.

Yes, I think you may be thinking to much into it. I dont think the fans will sit well with Hutch starting over Carter especially after tonight. Seeing how Hutch hasnt showed anything. I definitely dont think he has won the job, Parcells is a better coach than that.

Not endorsing Hutch here at all, but Qsucks is not the answer. The guy is playing ok versus a JV football team tonight but he still sucks tremendously and will never be a quality NFL quarterback.
