They won't find one that works, I don't think.
If I had to guess, I'd say CP3 will be a Knick, and we'll never hear from him again.

Yeah I don’t know that they have the contracts to make that work. Bledsoe would definitely be involved to a 3rd team(does anyone really want him? Orlando?)but not Middleton or Lopez. Hard to get to 36m or whatever CP3 is making. There would have to be unprotected or very lightly protected 1st from Milwaukee. Does CP3 even move the needle that much for them? It’s not like they wouldn’t be shedding rotation guys to get him. I don’t believe this one.

This is literally the first one I tried, and it doesn't even include Randall, who I bet OKC would take if they really want those picks. All expiring money, and I bet some of it isn't guaranteed. Just saying, it's possible.

I would LOVE to see Troll wasting away on the Knicks, but I think he might find his way to a halfway decent team somehow. That contract though. As good as he was this year I wouldn’t give good picks for him unless you think he’s the final piece.

Btw I’m firmly on the “anyone but LAC” bandwagon. Though I forgot Rondo is a Laker. I think I’d still prefer Lakers. The Clippers are the worst. Beverley may be the most annoying player in the league.

Well, I wasn't sure, but I'm shocked they're hanging while getting this little from Siakam.

Siakam has been terrible, may be in his head a little at this point. Also could be run down. Nurse has been playing a 7 man rotation. Nurse is soooo good though. Lowery and Van Vleet are incredible. Toronto is going to have to max out FVV. OG has taken another step. Gasol and Ibaka are steady, unflashy pros. And Stormin Norm Powell put them on his back tonight, along with Kyle. Very impressive. Easy team to get behind. My favorite East team.
I’ve said this before but I wonder if Masai would’ve added another vet rotation guy if he could have a do over. They find great undrafted players all the time. I wonder what they could’ve gotten for their first at the deadline? Another wing scorer like Gallo or Morris and they could’ve been a legit threat. They’re just a little thin as is.

It would be hilarious if Rondo was the difference in the Rockets/Lakers series.

Watching Moreys trainwreck is just beautiful. I remember how he started to be a fullblown douche the past years.
Westbrook three more years at 40m+ lol

I think the Mavs could beat anyone with a healthy KP not named the Clippers.

I didn't even watch tonight. I knew this series was over when Vogal finally figured out he couldn't play McGee and Howard for the second half of game 3.

Ahhhh... I see James Frauden showed his playoff basketball self again last night. Luka when facing the Clips down 1-2 facing a 1-3 outlook, without his wingman mind you... Had 43 points 17rebs 13asts and only had 5 fta's to get it.... on a bum ankle. Harden had 21 points.... and had 20fta's.... and went 2/11 shooting.... 11 fga's when your team is facing 1-3 and ur supposedly one of the greatest scorers of all time.
Fraud.

As bad as he was, it was RB that really lost them the game. Harden at least has the excuse that he was doubled most of the game. Westbrick plays like he has never been in the playoffs before. He is what Don Nelson would call a "box of rocks" player.

Giannis unfollows Bucks? If GSW trade for him that would totally change the calculus of the entire league. They can offer Wiggins, the #2 pick and Wolves unprotected ‘21. This thought scares me.

Yeah, someone on another board said he does this after every season. It's his usual move.

Wait so he doesn’t want to focus on social media crap after the season or be in contact that way with his teammates, but he’s up on it during the season when he’s with them everyday? Seems counterintuitive.

I mentioned this in another thread, but in a way, Giannis' free agency begins this year. The Bucks can and will offer to a supermax extension. If he turns it down, that's a signal to the whole world that he's not married to Milwaukee. Not that he'll definitely leave, but that he's at least keeping his options open.

I think it's very likely that he waits until he's free agent to sign, but I'm not sure that signals anything about him wanting to leave. I think it's more about maintaining leverage over the roster building process and encouraging management to spend.
But, I guess keeping his options open is a positive bonus result for teams hoping to snag him.

Yeah, I just mean that it undercuts the whole "Giannis is too loyal to leave" narrative.

There is no point for Giannis for signing the supermax allready now. The same deal is going to be on the table in year at the start of his FA.
One year where he can watch how the franchise is trying to undo their Brogdon brainfart.
So not signing doesnt mean anything, Its just the smart option for him no matter what

It may be the smart option, but I'm not buying that it's nothing. At the very least, it shows that he wants to hold the franchise accountable and keep the pressure on them. That's not blind loyalty, as some people seem to think he has.

Lakers absolutely destroy the Rockets to take the series in 5. Also, Breen just pointed out that the Lakers have won 8 out of their 10 playoff games. Are we sure we're not sleeping on them? It's been popular to write them off lately. That 5% title chance from Fivethirtyeight seems way too low to me.

Portland was even more banged up than we were. Who knows how this series goes with Portland being at full strenght.
And the Rockets were a trainwreck after the House incident

I still think people are writing them off in a way that seems strange, given their actual performance. I actually don't think the Portland series plays out any differently. Maybe it goes 6 instead of 5, but that's it. Like, I'm still picking the Clippers, but it's not that lopsided.

Even if Giannis loves the Bucks and is thinking about pulling a Dirk, i wouldnt sign the supermax, i would sign a 1+2. Running it back until 2023 when most of the actual roster is toast agewise. And deciding to move on or maybe recruit FA to Milwaukee
