RE: For all the posters who want Finley to be traded
Whose going to bring you back the most value?
Finley, NVE, or Nash?
Thought so. And next year or the year after that people are going to be bitching about Nash's decline and his contract just like Finley.

Whats beyond me is that people always complain about Fin's age and he is declining however he has shown me no sign of age. Nash has showed me he slows down when the playoffs start for 2 consecutive years. And to top it off he is a year younger than Fin.

No sign of age???
What about his lack of going to the hole. He is shooting alot more 3's, and a combination of losing his hops and his already bad handles enables him to go to the hole.
I can't really argue why Nash isn't talked about more in trades, but to say you can't tell he is aging is biased.

RE: For all the posters who want Finley to be traded
Finley does something Nash doesn't and that's pace himself.
For whatever reason, Finley takes it the basket late in the season and through out the playoffs. If I had a choice between having Finley going to the basket consistently during the season and burning out, or a late charge and the playoffs, I'd take the late charge and the playoffs.

Finley has NEVER taken it to the hole like he should. He has NEVER had good handles. He shoots a lot of 3's because he's GOOD at it, 37.0% is a good mark - that's basically the same as Dirk's 37.9%. Who thinks Dirk shoots too many 3's?
He isn't losing his hops - 5.8 boards a game ain't too shabby. In fact it was the 2nd best year EVER for Finley on the boards.

Well i don't think Finley is getting more rebounds just on the fact that he has the same verticle. He is looking for rebounds more, positioning better, and is geting smarter on where they are bouncing.
And Finley did take it to the hole alot. He use to be one of the best dunkers in the L.
He might be good at 3's, but the more he sticks to them, he will be more predictable, so he will be easiar to guard.

I disagree. A 6'6" guard gets most of his boards by athletic ability not positioning. Since Finley is still able to rebound as effectively as ever then his athletic ability is as good as ever.

There was a lot more NEED for Finley to be that aggressive back in the day, he was all we had. But now he is the 2nd or 3rd option - he can't hog the ball. It is acceptable for Finley to risk a turnover when we were a bad team but it isn't anymore. I like seeing Fin dunk the ball. I like seeing Finley protecting the ball more.
BTW, Fin had the lowest turnovers of the big 3.
