Default PJ Brown

This guy was begging to retire and he is probably 38 years old or so but he was one of the best players on the Bulls against the Pistons. This guy has been so solid for years. He is alot like Kurt Thomas but better and Thomas had a good game last night and Phx coach shouldn't have pulled Thomas the 4th Q. Hat's off to Bowen for a huge 3 and great defense on Nash at the end of the game.

How can Brown retire now? So many teams need a forward/center and this guy at almost 40 is better than 50% or more of the players that play inside the painted area, defense and offense. The Pistons would love him. I can make a list of teams that would beg for his services next year but how much does he have left?

Remember the big guy from Seattle a couple years ago that did not play much and had a great playoff series? He got a huge contract from the Knicks and now he sux like he always did. He isn't as old as Brown but Brown has played good all his life. It is funny seeing guys like Brown, Mutombo, Mourning, and others hanging around because they are better than most of the younger guys. Maybe Mutombo isn't anymore, so the money will flow again next year to this old but good vets.

That is where the title and playoffs are won, in the paint. Not outside.Steve Nash is one of the very best and he is close to breaking that mold where you could win outside but he can't get over that hump. Layups and dunks are so much easier than 3 pointers.

I really, really would love him in a Dallas uniform, but age is obviously a concern.

Is his contract up after this year? I honestly feel if we had him we would have beaten GS easily. This is the type player inside we have needed. I wish we had this type player or him as i remember them beating us in Chicago this year and he killed us. The guard that shoots so good beat us also but Brown inside we could not stop either and at his age.

It will be very interesting if we go all the way out and get a good young one with trades or if we will try to piece together some offense inside with older vets, like a PJ Brown. Detroit seems to have so many players like Brown that can play inside/outside and score.

He would play alot with us and maybe start(Brown).
