I won the fight but it's nothing to brag about...kind of like beating up an invalid. The guy is a freaking idiot.
To complicate matters, the guy also happens to be my boss. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunatelyh) he's just barely smart enough to understand that without me he'd lose half of his business and his entire staff would quit, so he can't take any retribution. Incidentally....I thought this brilliantly insightful article on The Office and corporate heirarchy's perfectly captures the real work structure of my office, aforementioned idiot being the personificaton of the clueless.

Funny how life changes...In the past I dreaded the holidays...getting around dysfunctional family members...dealing with drama drama drama...
But this year it's different... You see this year...I'm the crazy one...I'm the dad who's stoked to have his sons home from college!!! In a strange way, it gives me new respect and understanding for my folks and for others in my family who are just a bit off the beaten path. This year, is a great year to be thankful for family and friends and to be just a bit more humble about me, myself and I. |

On my way to New York, on business...blessed to bring my wife with me and staying over the weekend.
Having kids in college is pretty awesome!!! Getting to do more with my wife lately and life is pretty good. Call me crazy, but I am blessed to not only be married, but to still be in love after 19 years!!! |

I'm in Corpus Christi and I'm picking up The Ticket. WTF? I can't get the ticket in Sanger.

Normally, I'm not a big Ticket fan...stuff gets a bit to juvenile for my taste.
But, I do still surf the channel and once in a while, they do something good. Got to hear the new song by George Dunham and it wasn't a bit. It was in the care and only for a quick moment before I pulled into the office...so forgive me for forgetting the title. I think it was something like "I Thought It was You" - a song about he and his dad. Nice work, and I hope all of us get an opportunity to visit either with our Dad's or Son's or both this Christmas, and that the memories can be positive!!! |

Today i recieved a letter from a girl i didn´t know and i first though " Hm... :-) " or " Someone´s going to bullshit you "
I sat down, opened a beer and lit a smoke and so - german evening  . And what was in this envelope. Two vouchers for the theater.Before X-mas in a parking lot i found a purse. Not much money in it. 30 bucks and some coins, but many cards and the id, driving license, everything. And i brought it to the cops. And now the girl wanted to say thanks and sent me those nice card. Boy, that was a good day.
