What type of arm does this dude have? His motion looks like he can't throw it deep, it seems way too constricted.

I lived in the bay area the last two years, he has decent arm strength if he has time. He is terrible off his backfoot or off the run. (Robotic QB)

I can believe it. His motion seems so un-fluid and it's almost like a shot-put. I bet he's really accurate on short routs however and probably gets it off quick.

He's pretty accurate with 20-30 yard passes as well. If you give him time, watch how nice the balls will look on those out patterns

having watched trent edwards the last four years at stanford, i'm a pretty big fan of his. he's no tony romo, but i think he'll be a solid nfl quarterback.
his major issue at stanford was that our receivers were truly awful; the two decent guys we had got injured in the first couple of games last season, and then we were literally starting a walk-on at wide receiver. i can't tell you how many times edwards would throw the perfect pass, only to have his guy drop the ball.
it also didn't help that we had no running game to speak of (also starting a walk-on at running back for awhile) and our offensive line couldn't protect him. and don't even get me started on the coaching ineptitude.
but, hey, we beat usc! things are looking up for the card.
now that my stanford football rant is over...go cowboys!

I can see why he would go third round, his motion would bother me. If he is in a system where it's a lot of timing, he looks pretty good.

Looks like things have settled down now. May the rout begin. They will be lucky to score seven on offense.
