Cowboys/Panthers Thread
Does the Tony Romo era begin today, or will Bledsoe be playing at the half?

Steve Smith is going to torch the Cowboys. Romo won't do much against the Panthers D.
Panthers by 10.

Anyone remember that time when we had VInny and the fans were calling for Henson and finally Parcells put Henson in for like the second half or something and he did bad and then the next game Vinny was back in. Anyone remember that? (Sorry for the run on). Only difference is that Henson didn't have a mole on his right cheeck, and he played baseball.

Don't hate - "Bledsoe" is a literary genius!

Don't you mean "BledHoe"??
Heh?
Heh?
*powerdown*
BTW, if Romo is yanked at halftime, Parcells should immediately hand over what's left of his testicles to Jerry Jones and announce his retirement.

Someone crashed TonyHomo.com..... hope that's not a bad sign....
And I agree mary, I usually hate those name changes.... but I was guilty of it here so I no longer can mock people that do that.
Unfortunate, because I enjoyed making fun of people that resorted to that.... It was one of those things that made me happy...... like Christmas.
But no more. At least not until that thread (and this one) gets buried for awhile.

Romo might just kick some ass tonight, but only if the running game gives them something. I would be shocked if he threw more than 1 interception.

Honestly, I would be suprised if he doesn't.

Let's get this baby ON! The Romo era begins with a resounding, balance-of-power-in-the-division-shifting victory!

Anyone here think the NBC football music theme sounds similar to the Star Wars theme?

I'm catching up on fantasy stats, after a day away from the TV. Let me get this straight: the Raiders completed FIVE passes and won the game??

Romo is determined to make something happen when he's about to get sacked. At that point just take the sack. Mcbriar is one of the best punters in the league. We'll be fine if he would just take the sack rather than try to force something that isn't there. So far he's played a good game by just playing smart.

Yeah, but the defense is just horrendous. You have no chance to win when the D can't stop anybody.

Not to mention the penalties that are screwing us in the rear like an ear of corn.

See that's what I'm talking about. Two reasons I love Romo in there:
1) TO is the clear #1 option (about damn time).
2) The plays happen FAST.

The Cowboys need to go deep when there's something there. I know Parcells likes to play conservative but when you have Ken Lucas in the locker room you have to go deep and if there's a pro bowl safety that is worse in coverage than Roy Williams it might be Mike Minter. Very similar players as soon on the Whitten touchdown. ROMMMMOOOO!!!!!!!! Lovin' this guy already lol.

That fumble should've been recovered. I think it was Reeves but not sure but he should've jumped on top of that ball. Too many times guys want to pick the ball up and go in for the touchdown. Should probably make sure you have possession first then think td.
