Yeah, I hate this call too. Maybe it was just cuz it was a pre-season game, but I think teams punt way to often in short yardage situations.

See i completely disagree with that. I havent seen this game so im not gonna comment on this particular instance but ive seen so many coaches go for it in situations that it makes no sense to go for it in and i think its largely because they dont want to be labeled cowards.

The pete carrol decision to go for it on 4th and 2 against UT was the dumbest decision to go for it ive ever seen. It cost him a dynasty and a national title. Way to go genius.
