It's not the fault of these guys that a bunch of bostonians grossly over-reacted. if there is some misdemeanor punishment, like a $50 fine, for trespassing on private property or some-such, then fine....it's absurd, tho, that some people expect them to prostrate themselves before the world.

the people that ought to be punished are the idiot/experts who couldn't tell the difference between a harmless gadget and a bonafide bomb.

It was a Cartoon Network Adult Swim promo where these guys were hired to put up litebrite (tm) boxes around town with the Adult Swim logo. It's pretty sad that the nation is in such a state of panic that people saw litebrites with cartoons on them and called out the terrorist police squad.

I was more shocked at their response, and how they were so outraged about the ad campaign, and how it was reckless to make such ad campaign. I was just shaking my head and going "you have got to be sh*tting me."

over-reaction fine, but dont throw people in prison for what would be 5 hours of community service and a giggle before.

BTW I think its hilarious that they arent falling for the BS of the news. It isnt serious and was never intended to be. They are petty criminals and pranksters, not murderers. Every press statement doesnt have to be somber and play to the Fox News, Court TV hard-hitting crowd.
