it's boring, they are just playing it safe...nothing ever goes completely according to seeds.

I still think the Lakers won't get out of the first round. I saw their December game on TV (like my only one this season!) and Portland were too good for the Lakers. This was when both were at full strength. I'm sure Portland will be fired up and Rasheed will actualy shut up. BEAT THEM DAMN LAKERS!!!

Good question. I was a big Rockets fan when they won their back-to-back titles in the mid-90's, and Mark Bryant one of those guys who did all the dirty work that enabled Houston to win so many close games in the playoffs. I'm also a huge Chucky Brown and Otis Thorpe fan, the All-Lunchpail Team if you will.
I also liked Bryant in Phoenix and Cleveland, where he often started at center.

yup, chris jent, he was usually stashed on the injured list, but i remember seeing him play a few times.

actually, wasn't the final four this year almost completely the #1 seeds?
well, sometimes it does go by the seeds. that's why they play an 82 game season, so they can seed the teams and put them in a tournament accordingly. sometimes safe is right. |

The 'best' teams often get knocked out by teams with worse records because they don't match up well. You can't just look at regular season records and try to predict the outcome, although it does help.
