Help me Pick a New Car (Ghetto Version)
For very different reasons than aexchange, I'm also in the market for a new car. However, I'm looking for something of a bargain, if it at all possible.
My ideal car has demo miles on it, suffered hail damage in the storm two weeks ago, and smells funny too - as long as the foul odor is associated with an appropriate discount.
If anyone has any advice, or has heard of any good deals anywhere, I would appreciate any information you may have.
I haven't really looked at anything yet. But I wouldn't mind finding a mid-size truck for under $ 20,000.

I agree...there is nothing wrong with women driving trucks.
However, I'm leaning towards a 2006 Altima. The car itself isn't too expensive, but the options package is going to put over budget..a little.
I still got $ 4000 knocked off the price. I think he could've done better, so I haven't decided.
But I REALLY like the car.

Under 20,000, full-size for price of mid-size, no hail damage, odor not bad as long as heading down wind. My fee 15% will take in vcash.

scion XB... you can get a new one for well under 20,000; it gets great gas mileage; it's going to last long while retaining its value since it's a Toyota; it's roomy inside. I drive an XA, and I really love it -- especially, the mpg.

Yes, the magnet is a must. And make sure it can kill gypsies @ 40mph while taking no damage.
I second the scion. But my choice is the Scion tC. They do give you a sorts of deals to finance it since this is Toyota's attempt at the getting into the younger market, and younger usually means low on cash.
