The Clippers lost to the TWolves and dropped their record to 38-42. The Clippers need to win their last two, to match the record of that pre-playoff Mavs team I have been trying to compare them to.

The win clinched the 5th seed for the TWolves. If the Mavs stay in 4th, the Mavs play the TWolves. Portland can no longer sneak into that spot. Of course we need to be careful what we wish for if we wish to play the TWolves instead of Portland. Either team will be tough. All of the West teams should be tough.

The Clips are nowhere near being the team the Mavs were last year. The Mavs finished hard, with pride, had an owner willing to spend bucks to make a winner and had a pretty established roster. The Clips have quit, played soft as of late, have more roster questions than they need and an owner who doesn't care about winning but rather saving dollars.
