Looks like a decent katrina timeline. Only made it through the first couple of days...so far:

Aug 27 -- Morning -- Dubya declares disaster area.
Aug 27 -- 5:00 pm -- Mayor ordered a voluntary evacuation. National Hurricane Center calls mayor and says mandatory evacution was needed.
Aug 28 -- 8:00 am -- Dubya called and asked that the evacuation be mandatory. The decision had been made right before he called.
Aug 28 -- 9:30 am -- (???) Reginal Transit Authority picks folks up at 12 locations to go to shelters although the "city’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan that calls for busses to be used to evacuate citizens out of the city."
Aug 28 -- 10:00 pm -- About 26,000 people are taking refuge in the Superdome. “To help keep them fed and hydrated, the Louisiana National Guard delivered three truckloads of water and seven truckloads of MREs — short for “meals ready to eat.” That’s enough to supply 15,000 people for three days, according to Col. Jay Mayeaux, deputy director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Emergency Preparedness.
