Ramsey Clark: An American Traitor

Adam Sparks
Tuesday, March 4, 2003

Editor's note: Adam Sparks, token conservative columnist at SFGATE.com (San Francisco Chronicle), submitted this essay to NewsMax.com after SFGATE rejected it.

"Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them (America), or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court." U.S. Constitution Article III, Section 3.

Ramsey Clark, a former attorney general under President Lyndon Baines Johnson, seems to fit the definition of having committed treasonous behavior in spades. I think we can find the necessary "two witnesses."

The key words are giving "Aid and Comfort" to America's enemies and particularly in the supporting of those who are conducting a war with us. You be the judge.

Mohammad Daoud al-Owhali, a student of Osama bin Laden, guided a truck packed with explosives into the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya in 1998. He was also seen throwing grenades at the guards, before he fled. The bomb-laden truck killed 213 and injured scores of others.

American Embassies are considered American soil and attacking our embassy is an Act of War. The same al-Owhali was implicated in the bombings at Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, which killed 224 and critically injured 4,500.

Defending a Terrorist Bomber

Fortunately, al-Owhali was finally caught and brought back to justice in the United States. Only one attorney would volunteer to handle this brutal murderer and sworn enemy of the United States: Ramsey Clark. Clark soon began to use the courtroom as a bully pulpit to rail against U.S. policies around the world.

Kerry superfriend shows up in the news.

AMMAN, 25 August 2004 — Former US Justice Secretary Ramsey Clark is expected to join a legal team seeking to defend former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein before a special Iraqi tribunal, the panel’s chairman Mohammad Rashdan announced yesterday.

“Negotiations are under way for Clark’s joining of the team,” Rashdan told Arab News, without going into details.

Clark, an ardent sympathizer with Saddam’s government, will become one of the distinguished members of the panel, that also included former French Foreign Minister Roland Dumas and some 20 prominent Arab and non-Arab lawyers who volunteered to defend the former Iraqi leader.

Another kerry superfriend and supporter.

Quote:
Kim Jung-Il, or at least North Korea, who does nothing without Kim's OK, is indeed for John Kerry.

"The North Koreans made it very clear, politely, that they want Mr. Kerry to win the election," said C. Kenneth Quinones, a former U.S. diplomat who was in Pyongyang, the North Korean capital this month for a Korean studies conference, said in a recent interview in Tokyo. "Nobody wants to move. North Koreans are going to play wait and see."

Consequently:

"The negotiating process is stalled," said Alexander Losy-ukov, who was Russia's negotiator at the talks until this spring and now is its ambassador to Japan, said in an interview last week. "It is clear they have just refused to participate in talks before the American presidential election. There are expectations in Pyongyang of a change in American policy. Probably they are wrong."

And North Korea's had some nice things to say about Bush as well:

North Korea called President Bush an "imbecile" and "a tyrant that puts Hitler into the shade" yesterday, unleashing a stream of insults that seemed to rule out any serious progress on nuclear disarmament talks before the American election this fall.

Apparently NoKo's characterization had to do with Bush aptly describing "Dear Leader" while on the campaign trail:

Yesterday's tirade appeared to have been set off by a campaign speech in Wisconsin last week by Bush, who referred to Kim Jong Il, North Korea's hereditary leader, as a "tyrant."

So at least one foreign leader and country have come out of the closet to back John Kerry. I wonder if he'll tout that endorsement on his website?

Did you see Kerrys pal Ramsey Clark is on Saddams Defense Team.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rashdan also revealed that a “group of Iraqi lawyers will arrive in Amman shortly” for coordinating the group’s efforts. He refused to divulge their names for security reasons.

Under the Iraq Bar Association bylaws, any foreign lawyer seeking involvement in litigation before Iraqi courts should be accompanied by an Iraqi lawyer.

“Contacts are going on among Amman, Paris and Geneva to ensure travel of the legal team at the opportune time for defending President Saddam,” Rashdan said.

Ensuring physical protection of the team’s members while in Iraq so far represented the most thorny issue after they received assassination threats by Iraqi ministers and groups affiliated with the government, according to team members.

Rashdan earlier said that his panel was obliged to resort to “private protection” to be provided by certain firms in Iraq after the Iraqi government failed to guarantee safety of the team’s members.

Saddam appeared in public before a special Iraqi court for the first time on July 1, when he refused to sign the indictment list in the absence of his lawyers.

Iraqi Interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi recently called for “speeding up” trial of Saddam and other figures of the previous regime.

Yup, that's one of the infamous ones showing her wearing a North Vietnamese helmet while sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun.

Wow, no wonder the SFgate rejected that essay. Even they have some standards for journalism. It would appear however the columnist would fit in right here with his definition of "traitor" The "superfriends" gag, and legitimately trying to link North Korea to John Kerry proves you for the neo-fascist brownshirt that you are. Thank god we've progressed as a planet far enough to keep jack-booted murderous imperialists like yourself out of any real power.

And this post proves you to be the commie loving, dope smoking, flower power, extremist that you are. That goodness that you don't have any real power because you'd just invite North Korea to come run the country so you can go out back and smoke your pot.
