What would it be like if kerry were president.

If Kerry were president in 2000 what would the world be like? There are a lot of items to wonder about. If you disagree I'd like to see some links before 2000.


- 9/11 would have occurred.
- No doctrine would have been declared. Countries would not now know that they are either with us or with the terrorists.
- Afghanistan "may" have been attacked. Kerry would have put 140,000 US troops into afghanistan to keep from out-sourcing the search for osama bin laden assuming that pakistan would have agreed.
- Afghanistan may or may not be slipping back to a terrorist haven, as kerry's democrat constituency and anti-war party would not be willing to risk american soldiers there to keep that country free and bring stability.

- Sadaam would still be in power.
- Sadaam would still be paying 25K to homicide bombers.
- Saddam, Uday, Quasay would still be raping, killing, pulling out tongues, the unmarked graves would still be filling up.
- Either the UN/France/Russia/China would still be raking in another 10billion as the coalition of the "bribed,extorted and coerced". Or the sanctions would have been lifted by now and sadaam would be happily making nuclear and biological weapons.
- No fly zone would either still be enforced or not.
- Libya would still be making nuclear weapons and wmds.

We as well as israel would still be waiting for another attack. Since there is no kerry doctrine, terrorists would have taken residence in sudan or another impovershed country.

Once Sadaam was out of the box he would again begin to threaten his neighbors and he and iran would be escalation to war.

9/11 may have happened..depends if Kerry was tuned into the same Chatter that Bush ignored...If he was tuned in, he may have left his vacation spot and did something about it. With his prior WARTIME experience, Id bet he would have. I'll take purple stars over hiding in Alabama anyday..

Yes- Sadaam would still be in charge- Ill give you that.. But- we would have 1000 + soldiers still alive- with 2000+ family members praising god every day that their sons and daughters were still alive. This country would be 200Billion dollars richer..the " raping, killing, pulling out tongues, the unmarked graves would still be filling up"- perhaps....strange thing though, there are dictators all over the world..its a shame, but its not just Iraqi people suffering..one can only do so much.....but hey, Ill take that 200million and use it towards OUR PEOPLE- in OUR Country...helping the poor here- not there.. Worrying about our country working- affording healthcare, having social security when they retire- somethings the republican party obviously care less about- or why would we have gone from the largest surplus every to the largest deficit ever? Oh, and Kerry would of finished what he started in Aftghanastan before moving on to something else...


Bottom line- this country would be JUST as save as it is now- Iraq was not a threat to us- Period..but the bonus would be huge- our soldiers would be alive...and 10s of thousands of Iraq people would be alive as well..Many more Iraqs died during this war than even the EVIL Sadaam would have killed...

Reeds....Kerry just said that he would have also removed sadaam BUT he would have done it with allies. So your statement that 1000+ soldiers would have been safer now must be amended to be x amount since he "would" have gone in because he thought sadaam was such a threat.

Now I don't believe that for a minute but you seem to. So since he would have gone in to REMOVE sadaam how many do you think we would have lost?
