Kaz Ishii, the Dodgers high priced "rookie" phenom pitched to 5-0 today for the best start since Fernando Valenzuela. I quoted rokkie because Ishii has been pitching well for years in the Japanese League. He has a real shot at NL ROY.

It cost LA 14 million just for the rights to negotiate with him and that doesn't include his salary....that's pretty steep.

i think you're right.. anyone that has played at the highest level in their respective countries should not be elgible for ROY awards
