Just curious...is this an automated thing that is happening? Or is this some idiot who physically goes through each thread and copy/pastes his/her garbage? What makes them think we will go see or buy the stuff they are peddling? Morbid curiosity?

They arent google ads-- they are very poorly implimented and not exactly targeted toward a focus group (adult Mavs fans play a children's online game like Maple Story?!?). Its spam at its worst-- a shotgun blast that wastes time and bandwidth with little chance of selling anything. As much as I despise the crap out of it, there isnt much you can do. At least they cant create threads.

I was thinking about the site stats today. Obviously, we have a ton of bots and non-active accounts with < 3 posts or whatever..soo our member tally is inaccurate, but our post count is almost up to 900,000
 I gotta say, most of those 900k posts have been top notch quality.. worth at LEAST 4 spurstalk or dallasbasketball.com posts :P thanks again to all the mods and dj for keeping this site up and running
