Battling SPAM
There's been an unusal influx of SPAM lately. Is there any way we can restrict the posting of new threads to people who have a certain # of posts? It doesn't have to be a high number - 10, 20 maybe. I don't know if this would work, but its an idea to throw out there.

excellent idea.... dj is the one that will have to answer that.
Today alone, I have banned over 6 new accounts, maybe 10... I lose count. I think I've deleted 4 threads today. The only saving grace so far is that they have limited the spam threads to the Dallas-Mavs.com section. Maybe we should rename it the spam/porn section.
