Can the same mojo that gave us the 2011 Championship also give us Dennis Smith? It's all about making the right sacrifices to the basketball gods...

If Whiteside + Conley was possible, then Parsons + Barnes was possible. Also he said he was willing to take less than the max if given years, but Cuban was only interested in him opting in to the last year of his existing contract.

Healthy Parsons and Barnes would be a beastly starting 3 and 4. Tank and draft a starting point guard or center, and if Dirk is able to play next year, bring him off the bench. Not silly at all.

Remember that time the Mavs scored 83 points... before halftime? Good times

PIERS MORGAN: Memo to millennials, that awful feeling you've got is called losing. It happens. If you want to know how to win, stop whinging for a bit and learn some lessons from Trump

Back on topic: Harrison Barnes had a rough night shooting, but he still led all scorers in this game... He is my sunshine, my only sunshine. He makes me happy when skies are gray. He'll never know dear, how much I love him. Please don't take my sunshine away.

64 Points in 48 min. We may give our NBA Spot to a Farm Team.

The season will go by quickly, and we will have a top 3 pick next summer, in a legendary draft. We will draft an absolute stud, for the first time since Dirk. I have to believe that's where this is going, otherwise it would be too painful to watch.

Top 3 pick you say? I hear Rondo and Wade are on the trading block. Would only take a first rounder

Jesus Christ....recorded the game and just watched it and it looked more like hockey than basketball. The Stars are gonna outscore the Mavs some night if this continues.

Barnes to Philly for their #1?
Draft Smith and Jackson (1 and 2) and start this thing from scratch.
By the time this thing gets rebuilt Barnes will be past his prime.

I'm only half joking here.

I just don't think it makes sense to max out a bunch of players just to tank for the lottery.

1. Still a huge risk on Parsons health. He probably isn't regular minute ready until January in which case our season is over by then.

2. I still think it would stunt the growth of Barnes since both are basically PFs in today's game. And with Parsons being a Diva and Barnes not...I see chemistry issues.

No way Philly would do this, a top 5 is too valuable to trade it for Barnes.

Yeah Im not buying that Parsons said this. He's all about image and I think he's pulling revisionist history here on going after Barnes.
