Default GDT game 33 - Mavs (9-23) at Heat (16-15) 7:00p FSSW

Mavs look to get back on track after a shaky showing in the prior game.

Both teams come in having won one game

Mavs 4-6
Heat 6-4

This feels like a game where Waiters goes off for 30+ with some wild ass 4th quarter heroics. Hopefully it's not blacked-out in Houston. I want to see Bam play, haven't been able to this season.

Otters in Heat are Otters without Lebrotter, D-wadotter, and Boshotter... I am sorry if I seem a little more incoherent than usual, but I just arrived from work to start vacations after a long and difficult semester... anywho, Mavs win by 2, reach a 2 game winning streak, and get to the 2 digit win column.

Mavs - 102
Otters in Heat - 100

One underrated aspect about Kleber is that he's bumped Barnes back to the 3, which I think we all agree is his natural fit.

We r gonna win this...... Heat shooting the hell outta the ball tonight and can't pull away. I'm expecting the Heat to have a Mavs like third quarter where we take the lead and never look back.

Ellington is doing more for us in this one game as a member of the Heat then he did his entire season with a Mavs jersey.

This team is ass juice. It’s so weird watching dirk get fired up like dirk the team is all backups right now and we can’t even get a lead. Still love him

What is wrong with DSJ. Looks frustrated again and can’t do much. Worried about how this season is affecting him.

Nothing wrong with DSJ that tossing lobs to Ayton can't fix.

I don’t see how anyone can watch these games and be glad the Mavs are so horrible. It’s so hard to watch. I want the draft pick of course, but when we can’t even get close playing backups? Mavs are a solid 5 years away from any type of competing.

@bobbykaralla: The Mavs had just 22 rebounds tonight, their fewest ever in a game. Miami only missed 26 shots.

It is hard to watch them lose however it’s necessary that they do. They tried the FA route to build a team and it cost them the last few years of Dirk’s prime. If they had continued that same path they were never going to be able to compete. I followed this team throughout the 90’s so I’m ok with waiting 5 years if it means they can get some actual legit stars on this team. By the end of this season they will already be 2 years into that 5 year plan.
