While apparently everyone wants losing, tanking, and ottery, to me, it is all about enjoying watching a team win, no matter how small or irrelevant those wins might be... so tonight, those Otters from Indiana are the victims of the Mavs' 2 W streak... and yes, JJB has another Otter-Killing, Tank-Destroying game...
Mavs - 99
Indiana Otters - 98

Turner elbows Wes in the neck and that isn't a flagrant? Nope foul on Wes. Horrid refs.

Something is wrong with Smith. No energy and unable to drive. Gotta be that sore hip.

Just tuning in... why are we so close? Why is Wes leading us in scoring?

I hope it’s not an injury but to me he’s looked like this for a few games now.

Dsj is doing ok for having to run a bad offense as a rookie under a tough coach. He's just kinda struggling finding offense that he isn't creating.

Barnes shooting FTs like he wants to play with Ayton next season.

Lance will not be out-tanked. I would hate to play with him.

If we're gonna win, then doing it with DSJ outrunning the world for the game-winning score is the way to do it... A little confidence for the rook doesn't hurt.

Oh baby! Nice win on back-to-back nights! Great defense on that last defensive possession. What more can you ask for. Now let's get the first 3 game winning streak against the direct competitor to the 8th spot in the Pels!

REally good point. He also has a lot to work on but the ceiling is whatever he wants it to be.
Did we close out a tight game with a rookie at point guard? I’m stunned JJ never returned

@PeasESPN: DSJ on being on the floor in crunch time the last two nights: "I've been on the floor in crunch time and we've won both. It's not rocket science"

Damn I just got home and caught part of the post game. I didn't realize it was an earlier start time. Sounds like Yogi had a pretty good game and Dirk looks to have had an efficient night.

Dirk and Yogi basically set us up for the win, with Wes and Dennis knocking it down.

The Mavs are really just hurting Smith by winning these meaningless games. If they don't get a top 5 pick, then there will be even more pressure put on Smith to be "the guy." I know that another young rookie with similar pressure would alleviate him greatly.
