Wizards @ Mavs: GameDay Thread
Noticed there wasn't one started..so here it is
The Mavericks catch a break without having to deal with Gilbert Arenas, which will affect the Wizards more than Dallas missing Dirk. Plus not having Jerry Stackhouse will hurt. And I don't care how well Larry Hughes is playing, he can't do ALL the scoring. Look for a laugher with the Wizards bringing it under 20 when we empty the benches.
Dallas - 110
Wash - 92

RE:Wizards @ Mavs: GameDay Thread
Hopefully mavs can shoot halfway decent, but don't really expect it. We should win regardless if we give similar effort as we did against the Tpuppies.
Mavs 101
Wizards 92

RE: Wizards @ Mavs: GameDay Thread
My predictions are never close, but here's my $0.02 anyway.
The mavs are at home, and haven't played all that well, so they are ripe for handing some poor unsuspecting team an @$$ kicking.
Mavs 103-87

RE: Wizards @ Mavs: GameDay Thread
Finally we will have a Good road showing: 107-99 Mavs. But it isn't as close as it looks
EDIT: Since this game is in dallas, the good road showing will be reserved for next game
For this game, since it is home, ah what the heck, how about 112-99

RE:Wizards @ Mavs: GameDay Thread
I expect a ass whooping tonight. No Arenas and Stack?
118-89 Mavs
I'm not even sure how the Wiz get 89 points but with the Mavs scoring with ease and fast I think it will give the Wiz more opprotunitys to score.

Larry Hughes is going to go off for 27 points tonight, but the Mavs pull out the win with a final score of 102-83...

I agree with your score somewhat but I just don't see Hughes killing us for some reason. I just think it's going to be somewhat out the blew like Jarvis Hayes or some of their less known talent.

Captain Obvious attacks again!
lol. Actually being at home makes a big difference so thats probably good justification for believing Dallas will win tonight.
Will the Wiz get the first win in Dallas? Nope.
10-0 at home
Dallas scores at about 39% from the floor, but 47% from three

HE's just trying to get your goat. With all the offensive weapons the Mavericks have its obvious we will score at least a few points. =)

Defense looks good so far. Why does Bradley insist on bringing the ball down? He loses it every time. OMG, did anyone else just hear Bradley's "Grab Life By the Horns" on FSSW? Hilarious!
Edited: for grammatical error. Shame on me; I teach English!

In Shawn's defense, a couple of the passes were much lower than they should have been for him.

He said that it happened when he ripped a jersey in the middle of the game. He had to change jerseys on the floor and when he took his ripped jersey off he heard people yelling, "Woo hoo". So he said he walked down to the other end of the floor and started flexing his muscles. I would have loved to have seen that!

I actually remember that game. It was pretty darn funny. But Shawn was really skinny back then. It was more like he was flexing his bones.

Good bench defense by the Mavs.
I'm remembering our defense with NVE. Ugh.
