Has anyone here ever eaten at Burger Bueno, located at the northwest quadrant of Coit and 635? I tried it for the first time the other day, and let me tell you something...In-N-Out would have to go a LONG way to match that burger.

I lived in SoCal for 3 years, and here is my highly controversial opinion on In-N-Out:
"Meh"

I haven't been through Garland in years...probably not since I was a teenager. I remember it being the place you were supposed to go if you wanted a fake ID. (Umm...not that I did that)
I don't think I'll be making the trek for a cheeseburger. Cheeseburgers are kinda evil anyway.

They put a big toll road (the Bush) through the north end of it, and subsequently some developers placed a large outdoor mall and several strip shopping centers/pads around it. It has the culture of an outlet mall. It's far removed from old-school Garland. It's more a part of Wylie/Murphy/name-the-white-flight-town than anything else. Think Allen, but closer to Dallas.
Basically, just think outlet mall. That's the vibe.

No, but I hope this means we'll get one in Austin sometime within the next 5 years. And even if not, I'm up in DFW at least somewhat frequently to see friends and family.

The location is perfect...especially if you are one of the investing parties.
Firewheel is full of broke HS Teenagers and In-N-Out Burger is the perfect place for Budget Eaters.
This is not the Gourmet Burger place, but it beats the heck out of the majority of the other Quick Service Restaurant Burger joints. I'll be looking forward to swinging by the place on my way home once in a while.
It's not for everyone, neither is Garland or Firewheel...but for this fan, it's a quick fix comfort food kinda place. I'm lookin forward to stimulating the economy, one In-N-Out burger at a time!!!

They're building a meat distribution plant in Texas. I'm sure they'll be down there soon.
Call me crazy, but I think its hard to beat the bacon cheeseburger from Burger Street. Red Robin has some tasty burgers as well, if you want to spend a couple of extra bucks.

I've been in Austin all my life and never heard of this place. They got rid of the ShortStop burgers near my place, I'm pretty disappointed.
