GDT game 31 - Suns (10-21) at Mavs (8-22) 7:30 FSSW
Crucial game and one of the hardest contests we've had all season. Suns are one of our closest competitors.

@bobbykaralla: Rick Carlisle said Dennis Smith Jr. is out tonight and is questionable for Wednesday.

No, it's not. The longer Smith jr is out, the more concerning it is. This is exactly why it can be explained that he fell to 9 because of injury concerns.

It is concerning. He's been almost constantly dinged up. The good news is sometimes guys that seem injury prone just need to get with a better regimen: better diet, sleep, preparation, recovery practices.

Tonight, the Mavs' tank rides into the Suns-et shooting it, demolishing it, destroying it, obliterating it, slaughtering it, putting it to sleep, whipping it off the face of the earth... aaaAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH... Oh, the humanity! ...anywho, the Mavs win...
Mavs - 119
Tanked Suns-et - 101

Tonight is the night to tank. Atlanta and Chicago both won again.
Edit: and a loss to Phoenix also helps a lot obviously

Wesley Matthews with the game winner, takes a quick look in the mirror to realize he is Wesley Matthews and misses it.
Another 218,000 Dollars well earned.

The tank survives. This was the best loss of the season so far.

If we can manage to lose two out of the next three against the Pistons, Heat and Hawks we then have 4 games in 6 nights including a back to back at the end of it. And then GS after the New Year. Sitting at 10 or 11 wins to end 2017 would be nice

Interesting stat tonight: Maxi was a +14 in Carlisle's favorite stat, plus-minus. Barnes was +13, Yogi +7, Wes +4, and Mejri +3.
The worst: Powell with -18, and Dirk/Barea/Harris each with -15. You can say those 4 guys literally lost the game for us tonight which is.....unexpected.....or I guess expected depending on who you ask.

Very unexpected to me. Idk if it's good or bad but all of those negative guys seem to be immune from RC's +- wrath.

If +- is your thing, Dirk and Harris are really high in rpm. Barea is positive.

I think you may need to change the way you watch.
I now watch for highlights while I cheer for them to lose. It took some training, but watching them now is more pleasurable
