I think we played pretty decently despite the injuries and lack of talent.

Gotta leave it all on the floor for the final 2:30. Let's go, Mavs!

I appreciate the D Matthews ha splayed but the guy is gotta give us more scoring and offense. I like the guy but I have a hard time seeing him being even a 3rd option.

@garooya: dirk, in this 18th season, is carrying a team in the playoffs as his teammates drop dead around him.

Dirk - injured
Barea - injured
Lee - injured, playing with pain injections
Anderson - injured

Now to cheer against the Rockets and then completely lose interest in sports until the draft/free agency season.

That'll do it. Good move by Rick to pull Dirk and get him the much deserved ovation. You can see the frustration in his face.

@bobbykaralla: Dirk gets a standing ovation as he exits the game. Well-deserved, too.

What's up with KD taking cheap shots this series? Really didn't think he was that kinda player. Flagrant 2.

@BenRogers: Mavs need @BrianCardinal tonight more than ever. Can't have people messing with 41 and co. Need to goon this up. #GoonBall

I once wanted to see KD get a ring, but after this series I have lost a great deal of respect for him. That is so disappointing. There's at least 1 game remaining. Once it's over I want the Spurs to demolish them.

To be fair he was brought here to space the floor and play D. With all these injuries he's not a 3rd option he's actually a 1st when Dirk is not on the floor, or 1B. When Dirk is not on the floor there is no1 to draw anyone away from Wes. And even when Dirk is on the floor he's not posting up like he used to for obvious age reasons. And Wes is not a create your own shot player so it's rly hard to evaluate him IMO. We just have to hope for the best next year when healthier.

Zaza - given the rather sudden regression in his game, probably got injured at some point of this season

Yeah, Wes is the ultimate catch & shoot/3&D guy.

Bone bruise on your knee + an ankle sprain + being 37 + playing 40 minutes at 37 will do that

Mavs knowingly put together an injury ridden team. No excuses.

thats why him and Westbrook are so thin-skinned....they know the Thunder times are over. They are not going through the Warriors or Spurs the next years. Durant also hitting 30 pretty soon...

@espn_macmahon: Rick Carlisle via a text message to reporters: "I'm not commenting on the extra curricular physical activity in the series. I'm sure the league office is looking at all that stuff in high definition."

@bobbykaralla: KD on his flagrant 2 & ejection: "The refs had to make a decision. They made the right one." Said he already texted an apology to Anderson.
@DamonMarxDMN: No hard feelings? Justin Anderson and Kevin Durant shake hands after game while reuniting with HS coach Stu Vetter.

Even though they shook hands after. He really should be suspended a game. That hit on Anderson was ridiculous. To be fair, especially when they were already up by 15 within like 2 minutes. Around that time.

Been saying this for a little while now. In desperate times both turn to straight bitches in their actions. Durant has a lot more this season because he knows he's not getting over the hump. His crying in the season talking about people has forgotten about him etc I was completely off Durant after that.
And those two the way they're playing has trickled down to the rest of the team and Donovan allows that. That whole scene near the thunders bench was embarrassing acting like a bunch of got damn children. Not professionals. And Durant knew exactly what he was doing with Simba. I'm not buying his apology. He's sorry it was so obvious.

Seeing Dirk do it all tonight and pretty much be last man standing with his team and Wes....heartbroken when he went to the bench and put his head in his hands
