Hopefully knowing he won't have to play 40+ minutes of hero ball cuz that's the only option our team has for success, he'll be free to push the pace more. I don't believe Luka is against or incapable of playing up tempo.

Keep in mind Sabonis is one of the best rebounding bigs in the game and Mcgee is towering over him

If this dude sustains this type of rebounding and rim protection the mavs are going to be tough in the playoffs

yes he's showing glimpses of playing up to his capabilities in that sense. Need to use him strategically too - some of those offensive sequences with him getting the ball were really bad. having this mcgee show up and show out is better in many ways then whoever we might have traded for.
