Roll of Thunder, hear our bricks
Thunder roll into Dallas
Bullock has a sore knee and is questionable. Otherwise we are healthy.
Thunder are more or less healthy.

For the 1st time in like forever it appears the Mavs starting lineup actually has legit starters across the board
Luka
Brunson
DFS
Kleber
KP
With Brunson taking his game up a notch he may have developed into a legitimate starting PG
Kleber I'd say is a borderline starter so not too bad.
Don't think that lineup was ever used by RC for significant minutes together.

Dwight Powell might be the weakest rim protector in the league.

Lots of games this year where we can't get to 40% and 30% from three
It's good that we have defense because that would be a blowout if we didn't

Luka 0-4 but he's gonna keep shooting the step-back fadeaway three with 20 seconds on the shotclock.

I know some fans won't like hearing this but at this point he's no better than Westbrick at shooting 3's
That's why I wish he would limit himself to around 3-5 per game at least until he does start knocking them down a 35% clip

THJ has turned into a one of the biggest brick shooters in the league and every time Powell hits the floor our interior defense becomes a layup drill

damn the refs hate Luka - don't call anything - clear hack on the arm and nothing
meanwhile Josh Green barely touches Shai and the whistle is blown

Luka another game shooting 25% and 0-6 from three
He needs to get off the Westbrick donut tour and start dieting

What's up with Chriss not playing? Just weird we go to all that trouble to waive WCS and then he gets a DNP.
And this should have been an easy win, but the Mavs still don't know how to shoot. Shit, maybe it is the damn ball. Gotta blame something I guess.

Can you imagine how good we'd be if we weren't a terrible shooting team?

Luka came into the league shooting 32.7%
We all knew that if he worked on his shot, he’d dominate the game of basketball and be totally unstoppable
Luka is now shooting 28.9% and is one more 4-17 game away from having his worst overall shooting season in the NBA

Refs were pretty bad. SGA is good but those anticipated fouls by the refs were silly.
I love that our defense is winning us games. We can have bad shooting games and still win. The shooting is going to come and go but the defense has been consistent.
I like Green being in the game late. Giddy worked him when he was headed to the line and he missed both but Kidd deliberately wanted to get him the experience we all want him to have. THJ missed both of his too, but he had a great defensive effort on the last play. He was all over that play to end the game.

Stop cherry picking. When Luka has a negative +/-, you bring it up. Every single time. Yesterday he was +12, and not a peep from you. It's hilarious how every single GD post you made about Luka today was about his poor shooting. Yes, he shot like shit. Yes, the efficiency is a big a problem. But if you're going to go in on his cons you should at least have the decency to also mention to mention the 11 rebounds, or 12 assists (could have been 15+ if guys hit open shots), or great FT shooting (12-14), or good defense (3 steals AND 3 blocks). He played a phenomenal game aside from the garbage shooting. At least paint the full picture...
Josh Green's worst game in awhile. He was awful.
THJ still can't shoot.
