In light of the top 50 article, and an exercise I saw on the realgm.com board, I thought we might try a little something.

We have all individually given top 10 player lists on this board, but never collectively.

I propose a collective top 10, to see where the players are ranked.

Once a player receives 5 votes, that is where he is ranked. For instance if Shaq receive 5 votes before another player he is ranked #1, then the voting starts over for number 2.

Rank these players according to their worth today, or next season. In other words do not allow long term potential, or age to reflect in your response.

In the interest of brevity, I am declaring Shaq #1. Let us begin,

I don't really think he's the 3rd best player, but I can't think of anyone besides Shaq or Duncan that I would clearly take over him. I definitely take him over Shobe.
