If we are going to contend, this is an incredible test. I still like Clips spacing defensively. They have caused some problems with our flow. Kyrie really bridged the gap when the lead fell to 8. Luka was tired and lost our momentum making lazy plays not getting back and complaining.
Kyrie foul trouble became a factor but we didnt collapse from their run.

DG has also been banged up a little to start this series but ultimately I think he's going to get rolling.

He may not get those lobs but I think his adjustment will come on the offensive glass eventually to generate production.

I'm a huge fan of both bigs btw and I think fans ate giving up on Gafford way too soon. It's only been 2 games not going to panic just yet

Yeah, we all know THJ is addition by subtraction, but we could use his 3 point shooting if he decided that's what he is best at doing.

This series still goes 6-7 games no question. If any team gets hot shooting, then it's trouble.

I like the confidence, but never called something before it's done. I'm happy we are up 2-1, but it's not over by any means. They are still talented and well-coached.

I also think the difference in this series is Dereck Lively. He needs more than 15 minutes as he is too talented to be that low in minutes. I know he is a rookie, but he is an absolute juggernaut around the rim.

Again, they are targeting Kyrie Irving. This was A CLEAR FOUL BY HARDEN. Look at the photo. It is Harden that is holding Kyrie. But the refs blow the whistle in the opposite direction because Kyrie is targeted.

It will be very hard for the Mavericks to win a championship like this. Calls like these make A HUGE DIFFERENCE.

Kyrie Irving is a very fair player. He plays both offense and defense very fairly. He doesn't seek cheap fouls, he doesn't exploit contact to produce and-ones. He is a very clean player like that. AND YET HE GETS ZERO RESPECT.

Luka is a super smart player who exploits all opportunities. And Luka gets ABUSED.

Luka gets ABUSED and Kyrie gets ZERO RESPECT.

The refs are calling the game very tightly. The rough play is allowed so that Luka and Mavs can get abused.

AND THEN DURING SUCH A LOW SCORING GAME THEY MAKE CALLS LIKE THESE.

THAT'S HOW THEY CONTROL THE GAME.

THAT'S HOW THE LEAGUE IS RIGGED.

The refs regularly produce somewhere around 15-20 points swings IN EVERY GAME.

And they CONTROL the games like that. What they do is MANAGE games like that.

THAT IS HOW NBA WORKS AND HOW IT IS RIGGED.

And the league is rigged because THE LEAGUE SENDS NOTES TO THE REFEREES NOT TO GIVE CERTAIN FOULS TO CERTAIN PLAYERS. They are not giving fouls to Luka.

Luka Doncic is a SUPER SMART player with PHENOMENAL FEEL. He is a TRUE MASTER OF AND-ONES in all situations. And the league sends notes to the referees NOT TO GIVE HIM AND-ONES.

That's how the league is refereed. You have a bunch of INCOMPETENT AND BIASED REFEREES who have NOTES that they use when refereeing. In this situation this ref WAS PERSUADED BY JOSH GREEN into this call because they have no notes on Josh Green AND BECAUSE JOSH GREEN ACTED.

Here is a good example of how Jason Kidd is a GOOD COACH. Jason Kidd has FOR A WHILE been saying that this team plays good defense when it plays good offense. That is, he has been saying that when they don't score on the offensive end THEY LOSE DEFENSIVE FOCUS. And that is exactly what has been happening here in this possession and in the one prior. They miss two threes, their offense kinda stalls, AND THEN THEY LET IN CHEAP BASKETS. This right here WAS A CHEAP BASKET.

That's what Kidd is working on. To get them to REMAIN FOCUSED on the defensive end regardless of how the offense goes. But the team struggles with that. This is a sort of a moment that Kidd should call a time out. TO REMIND THEM TO REMAIN FOCUSED ON BOTH ENDS OF THE FLOOR.

It's one thing to miss two threes. BUT DON'T LOSE FOCUS ON THE DEFENSIVE END !!!! Don't let cheap hoops in less than 8 seconds of play.

See how Gafford OVERCOMMITS here. Gafford has that problem. His AWARENESS of what goes on is low when he is stretched out. He overcommits here on Zubac WHO IS NOT A THREAT OUT OF THE PAINT.

THAAAAAT'S WHYYYYYY Kidd benches Gafford often. There are teams that know how to exploit that. And there are teams that don't.

If we go to 7 against this Clippers team, we are in trouble in the context of a long run. Kawhi will probably not play from here on out, because they were almost playing 4 on 5 with him. The truth is that our offense has been bad so far, if we can put together 2 normal offensive halves fitting to this team's ability (today we had one good offensive half), we can blow this thing wide open for game 5.

Also gotta shout out Maxi again. He made another 3 out on the wing and of course defended his ass off. If he can make 1.5 of those a game, it really gives Dallas the ability to keep his minutes up.

DJJ has been stout for us with his defense and athleticism.
Loved the aggression going to the hoop for a monster slam even though he got fouled. that's something I wish Green would do. he only goes for the jam when he's got a clear path.
