I'm not really a fan of death metal (or any metal, for that matter), and most of my experience with the genre stems from my love of Adult Swim's Metalocalypse, but a co-worker of mine recently introduced me to this stuff... My appreciation of jazz and math rock have allowed me to at least get into Fallujah's instrumental tracks... I guess this is a sub-genre known as ambient death metal? I dunno, but it's pretty solid, technically-speaking.

Tuareg blues from Niger, produced by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys. Surprisingly good and not just good as world music.

Sounds a bit like a more hardcore, faster paced Ali Farka Toure.

Definitely went under the radar, but Jurassic 5 is back together and their new single is pretty dope.

Definately. Maybe the Ramones picked the wrong drug.

I really enjoy irish instrumentals, and I found a guy on spotify that fits my likes perfectly. Dudes name is "Brian Finnegan" and you should definitely look his CD up if you like that type of music at all. CD is called "The Ravishing Genius of Bones"

Sure, I can hear some Black Moth Super Rainbow influence in there... Also shades of Com Truise and Daft Punk (except Tame Impala has someone who can actually sing for really real).
