GDT: Mavs vs Spurs - 3/24 - 7:00pm CT (TNT)
Your Dallas Mavericks vs. The san antonio spurs
7:3O CST on FSSW
It seems this rivalry has faded some over the years, but I see no better way to get back to our winning ways than against an old foe. The Mavericks have struggled through a low point recently, and will be looking to turn things around in a big way. The extra motivation of a longstanding rival will only add more fuel. The playoff implications are strong, with the spurs currently 1 game ahead in the standings.
Ellis typically plays well against the spurs, averaging 25.6 points over the last 17 matchups, and going 59.1% from the field against them this season. Look for him to get his act together tonight in a big way. Hopefully JJ and Harris are healthy as well.
LETS! GO! MAVS!

Always love the Spurs battles. Good to see classic pro's Dirk & Duncan play.
Hope JJB is able to play. Would like to see the team bounce back tonight.
Sucks that we play them again on Friday - at least the Spurs have to play OKC Wed.

Monta drops 40
Rondo plays great D and 2 rebounds short of triple double
Dirk hits open shots and gets easy 20 points
Chandler 15 rebounds
Parsons gets 15 points before tiring himself out from all the pump fakes he uses and does nothing after most of them
Aminu 5 block and 5 steal
MAVS WIN...thats all that matters. Lets hope this is the turning point and the start of a deep playoff run.
GOOOO MAVS

Yup, thanks for the fix, however I believe it is also still on FS as well, at least according to my Sportacular app

Ugh. Hate nationally televised games. Mavs usually come out weak and I don't have cable and NBALPB is blacked out.

Cue the "mavs lost because it came on national tv" posts.
Have a feeling the Mavs will surprise and pull this game out. However, they will not get both against the Spurs.

I think we pull this one out and then get blown out on Friday. I'll happily take it though.
Also, just saw an interesting stat on NBATV. Monta Ellis is averaging 25.6 points in his last 17 games against the Spurs. We're gonna need that from him tonight.

I just want to see the Mavs look like they know exactly what they are doing.
Go Mavs.

Could this finally be the time we look good on National TV?!?!!? History and current form say no. And this could easily be a blowout loss. But I'm hopeful, for some reason.

Hopefully there will be more communication on the court. The ball movement has to be on point against san antonio. Not to mention they enjoy to shoot up 3's quick. Tonight will be about awareness and consistency in scoring. Unleash DMC!!

Felton played pretty well in Phoenix. He should be able to pick up some of JJ's minutes. We might see RJ at the two for few minutes.

Splitter, just like in the last playoffs, is allowed to walk under Dirk when he shoots everytime...
And on offense he just puts up bs and it goes in, twice.

Dirk was probably up all night with the baby stuff, so I give him a pass.
If Parsons gives us a stinker, then he can f off.
