GDT -- Mavs @ Spurs - 7:30 CST - FSSW/LP/LPB
So since I got the channel and the time wrong on the last GDT and it obviously worked out, I figured I'd keep the mojo flowing. Hopefully a mod will fix it before any confusion sets in, but hey, I've got to do my part as well.
So tonight at 7:00 (7:30) on VH1 (FSSW) the Mavs will look to repeat their previous performance against the Spurs.
San Antonio absolutely crushed the Thunder on Wednesday and I don't think anyone on their team played 30 minutes. With a win from the Mavs tonight, Dallas can move back into a virutal tie with San Antonio. Can they do it? Exactly how much Monta will we get tonight? Too much? Not enough?
LETS! GO! MAVS!

Tonight is a huge game. After winning on Tuesday, there's no doubt that we will get the Spurs A-game tonight. We will find out what this team is made of with just a few weeks until playoff time.

This is the game where it would be smart for Ellis to take a back seat to Dirk and Parsons...at least for the first two or three quarters. SA is going to focus on him big time, and he can take advantage of that by being a facilitator.
GO MAVS!!

Like that idea, hopefully they are gameplanning for that because we cant have Ellis not playing within himself and getting frustrated early.
Spread is -8.5 sooo let's not get caught up in a blowout.

Wonder how Spurs will respond to clobbering the Thunder by 39 points the other night.
Hopefully they unleashed their fury on OKC and got it out of their system.

The Spurts will try to spurt, but the Mavs will outsspurt them in a fourth quarter spurt....
Mavs - 101
Spurts - 100

Statement game for the Mavs. Back-to-back wins to take the series from the Spurs would raise a few eyebrows.
Mavs 107
Spurs 105
Mavs Bench 41 pts
Spurs Bench 28 pts

Same game plan like the last game. Mavs have to contain their 3 point shooting big time.

We didnt contain their 3-point shooting though. On Tuesday, their ball movement got them awesome looks all night. They just had a horrible night shooting from 3 and weren't making them. That's not gonna happen tonight.

If Aminu can develop a constant shot from three, he can become really good.

Not that it's something new, but Stoudemire is really bad on defense, wow.

although we´re down ten, I can´t complain. Mavs playing really well; just missing way to many easy ones (Parsons, Stoudemire lay-ups; Dirk, Harris, Ellis had wide open shots from outside)

Amazing how bad the offense can look when the defense looks sound.

Defense needs to be more aware. And how about slashing to the rim some more.
