GDT: Mavs have a chance at the Blazers
DFS and Green are back
Powell
Simons
Nance
Little
Snell
Elleby
Brown
McGriff
Williams
Cumberland
vs
KP
Brunson
DFS
Franky smokes
Green
Boban
M. Brown
S. Brown
Chriss
Jones
King
Knight
Pinson
Unlike the Jazz, Warriors, and Suns, Blazers are actually honest about their COVId tests and have also been depleted.

If DFS and Green are back do 2 of the replacement players have to be waved?
Also, since the Mavs waved Omoruyi yesterday. Dose Pinson qualify for a 2way spot?

Great. Hope this is the night we get to see what Green can do with 30 minutes of court time. Or am I overestimating Kidd and he’ll play like 12 minutes?

Honestly give me Brandon Knight purely because he can dribble and he can create. Would be a great bench player for the team.
Add Knight, Chriss, 2 way Pinson
Waive whoever needed

Green uses his athleticism to make crazy passes and dunks. If he can get his threes going, he’s a player

Josh green making passes.
I don’t expect his shot to get there tbh. And that’s okay. As long as it’s halfway respectable, his transition and ability to get in the paint is important.

Brandon Knight!!!
in his 3rd game with DAL and had 18 points (6-12 FG), 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal in 24 minutes.
.
Brandon Knight on signing with the Mavs as a COVID replacement, and taking advantage of this run this week: "When I got off the phone with my agent, I literally cried. Just thankful to get this chance."
.
Youngest Mavs to hand out 10+ assists:
Luka Dončić (19 years, 293 days)
Dennis Smith Jr. (19 years, 327 days)
*Josh Green (21 years, 41 days)
Jason Kidd (21 years, 227 days)
.
It's a 132-117 final, Mavs win. Dallas scored 68 points in the paint, tied for the team's most in a game since 11/22/19. Porzingis scored 34, a Mavs high in a game this season. Dwight Powell had 22. Josh Green had a career-high 10 assists. Brandon Knight scored 18 off the bench.
.
Dwight Powell has his first 20-point game of the season and his second since returning from the Achilles injury he suffered in 2020. It's his 15th career 20-point game.
.
Per@Stathead
the 38 assists by the Mavericks were the most they've had in a game since 39 in a 2OT win at DEN in Apr 2015 (Raymond Felton GW shot). In regulation it's the most since 39 at PHI in Feb 2014

Tim is just the exact opposite of what a fan likes watching. A non-energy three point chucker who has zero other impact on the game. Hope the Pelicans still like him.

Oh there were some who liked him and sorta tried to justify his re-signing. Idc that it appeared we were running low on FA options. Ray Charles could see that he wasn't a good fit here.
He's a good dude and I'd wish him well elsewhre but it's going to be annoying when he's still here beyond the TD.

It's really unfortunate that our two biggest signings this offseason, THJ and Bullock, are probably the ones we need to move the most at this point. Bullock is too one dimensional and he's been terrible this year at the one dimension he's supposed to be good at. THJ is just too poor of a defender and too streaky to be worth his salary. We should see what we can get for them and then re-sign Brunson and DFS to replace their salary slots.

Bullock, THJ and Kleber should be packaged for Myles Turner
