Rockets' Steve Francis to have shoulder surgery
May 23, 2002 HOUSTON (AP) -- Houston Rockets guard Steve Francis will have surgery to repair the lining of his right shoulder on May 30. Francis missed the last three games of the season because of the shoulder strain and missed a total of 25 games this season, seven because of migraine headaches. Francis averaged 21.6 points and 6.4 assists in 57 games.

steve francis is a scary player..if he gets healthy, there's no telling how good he can be.

I like Francis. He should benefit greatly by the Rockets #1 pick. Steve to Yao maybe?
