I'm sure that's the narrative that Trump supporters would like to believe -- blame Hillary and the Democrats for this whole mess... But, also, it kinda makes Trump look like a bottom-bitch who can get played by pretty much anyone.

I'm not a Trump supporter, but it's what popped into my head first when I saw the news. It just seems like good strategy. We know Hillary has a huge hard on for Syria. According to the NYT, it was a big source of contention between Obama and Hillary.
