When the starting Line-ups are announced tonight Wallace was announced as a mav and walker as a Blazer because a trade had just been done? Or after the game the 2 just switch planes? Not necesarrily saying do the trade but wouldn't it be funny if?

Back to the thread:I hate the trade because I hate 'Sheed. I spend a lot of time up in Portland and he is as bad as people think he is. I think that would be a funny way to announce a trade, though. Too bad there is so much press around signings (press conferences, the troll, Stern, agreeing etc.)

I don't mind being made fun of my point was simply could you imagine the announcers if Rasheed was announced as a Mav. I wouldn't do the trade unless somehow randolph was included but that wouldn't happen.

There is a moderator next to my name. Everyone just knock it off with calling each other out for not being moderator and keep the thread on track. This thread is about the irony that would have occured if Wallace had been traded for Walker. Try to confine your comments to talking about this and not critiquing the posting of others.

Let's try to get this back on track once more.

Five-ofan it would have been funny in a dark humor sort of way. I really don't know if the Mavs could take on a character like Wallace while they are struggling and not have some sort of major blowup in the locker room. All the others that we absorbed (NVE, Walker, etc.) were while the team was having at least moderate success. Right now the Mavs are underachieving, and that alone is a major strain on locker room chemistry. A trade always is a strain, especially when Walker is such a close friend of Fin's. If we continued ot struggle, which we probably would in adding in a new player, then it would be very hard for Fin not to have some sort of outburst either public or more likely private. I also don't think that Nellie is the best coach at keeping a lid on this sort of thing, although I don't know what coach would.

it would not be funny, it would be strange and an odd way to do business, plus it would be impossible cause they would have to have their physicals......so, not funny but thanks for asking!

My bad starting this thread . I still think it would have been funny if they would have done everything in secret and then had wallce announced as a mav and whoever was traded for him announced as a blazer. It had nothing to do with the basketball involved and I ouldn't want wallace as a mav. Pls die thread Die
