I'm pretty sure Carlisle has already made comments about "looking at everything" when it comes to lineups in the past but all that turned out to be was him just shuffling bench lineups and rotations. I've made my views known about Wes already, but I'll believe it when I see it when it comes to actually bringing him off the bench like he belongs.

I predict Luka, DSJ, Mes, Barnes, and DAJ will start. The first called play will be for DJ to handle ball at top of key in order to pass to a cutting Mes or get the ball to him down on the block for a post up move. No, seriously. This turnover scenario to be followed by a Barnes iso on the next offensive possession. It doesn't really matter whether or not Rick calls this play because once the ball touches Barnes' hands it's game on, and the other 4 raptors in the paint better watch out! /sarc

Not from the future, but I have seen enough of the past to know what to expect. :-( Also, the only part of my post meant to be /sarc was that last little bit about the 4 raptors in the paint having to watch out for Barnes. SMH 5 minutes of tape on Barnes is all it takes to realize that when he gets the ball he punches a one way ticket to the paint for a shot regardless of how many defenders are in the way.

Never. Wes and Barnes are the greatest Mavericks of all time and will get statues outside the AAC. No way we could possibly shake things up and bring either one off the bench.

Yep. I don’t think it’s particularly important who comes out first, as long as they are staggered. Perhaps Dennis was having a problem getting in rhythm coming out early, but Luka doesn’t have a problem with it.
