It really pisses me off.

I've come to expect that when the clock is winding down at the end of a quarter and the Mavs have the ball and Barea is on the court, he will take the last shot. Whether he has a good shot or not, he usually takes the last shot. That is one thing that I have noticed.
I have nothing against Barea. He has grown considerably this season. BUT he has to learn to balance his scoring and his play as a PG. I love his aggressiveness and his passion for the game. I like how he tries to drive to the basket when the opportunity presents itself. What I don't like is when he starts to forget that he should also be a facilitator when Kidd is out.
I know he has been a spark to this team and at times has carried them during critical moments of a game. But its truly frustrating when he tries to create a shot solely for himself, totally ignoring Dirk or Josh or Kidd (or whoever is around him) who may have a better shot than him. I don't know if its his basketball IQ, lack of experience, or just "occasional selfishness" altogether.
He can be a great role player for this team if only he learns to play within his capabilities.
