GDT: Bucks vs Mavs 7:30 p.m. central
First game day thread. Dallas is in 8th place now and only 1 game ahead of Phoenix who has been rejuvenated even without Stoudemire.
Dirk appears to be going through the motions after the deadline, like he can see the writing on the wall that they aren't good enough to win a championship. He is like Garnett right now now in Minny. A bottom tier playoff team at best. And it looks like he is giving up.
Since this game won't get them out of a seed, they will probably win.

Not only win, but it'll be a 40 point blowout, probably...

Why does this game feel like it's going to be harder than it should be?
Dirk with 35+ points tonight for the win...

4 easy games up then a rematch with the Spurs. Let's get the bitter taste of last night's defeat out of our mouths boys.

tonight isn't going to go well, I fear. Dallas has a hard time giving full energy on the front end of a back to back... i'm afraid to see what effort we'll see out of them on the tail end of it.
The Bucks are no pushovers, Charlie V and Sessions have the potential to go off for 30 points each if our PG can't keep their facilitator out of the freakin' paint.

Pissed from last night, but lets get back in the saddle. Let's go Mavs! We can get this win and put a little 4 game streak together. I hope they have the game from earlier this year on every TV in the arena just to remind the team of how they kicked their butts earleir this year.

Even with Dirk having a shooting slump, i think the rest of the guys can take care of business. I say this will be a close game. Mavs will win this one.

Anyone remember what happened the last time we played this team?
I seemed to have blocked it from my consciousness and repressed it deep in my mind.

Even if the Mavs spank the Bucks by 30 or 40 points tonight, would it mean much?

I wouldn't worry about that. Our next 3 games are home against cupcakes, Suns play the Lakers twice in the next 3 games. We "should" have a 3 game cushion in 3 games. But who knows.
Anyway, Redd's hot shooting was part of the reason we were torched last time and he's out. No Bogut/Redd, Bucks are mediocre, no excuses!!

With the way our bench has been playing it just boils down for the starting 5 to get things going and if they do get things rolling then our bench wouldn't have to put in so much effort so I expect to see more from our starting 5

Due to a combination of Mavs burnout and the fact that Lost is on tonight, I probably won't catch much of the game. Its okay to miss a couple games. I'll be checking the score periodically, maybe watch half of the first quarter, but definantly won't be posting here.
Let's get a win, though. Go Mavs!
