just curious...
according to Mark Cuban, the mavs like the small lineup...
according to don nelson, he wants to go big much more this year..
according to mark cuban, the mavs aren't shopping NVE...
and the mavs are reportedly interested in a "Kurt Thomas" type player according to Nellie on the Norm show.
hmm..it seems to me like these guys like to inentionally contradict each other just to screw with the fans' minds..
that's why you must take everything they say with a huge grain of salt

hmm..very interesting post.
unfortunately, i think it's more of an issue of two guys talking out of the side of their mouths ...
and of course, if the mavs CAN'T find a big man, they will play small ball. so just because they might end up playing alot of small ball may be more indicative of the fact that they couldn't get anything to help via free agency or via trade

YES YOU DID!!!!
For us to get a quality big man, NVE has to be moved.
If Nellie and Cuban are trying to confuse everyone, they're doing an awesome job at it.

I think Murph's point is valid. There is nothing but smokescreen right now so don't put stock in anything that is being said right now.

I'm thinking the Mavs, and most of the other teams, are wanting to see how the free agents are going to shake out before they decide what trades to make.

oh, of course david..as they should.
if they can bring in a good big man via free agency, then that helps to address their main issue...although i might still look for a slasher and a backup PG in exchange for NVE (obviously to some team that needs a starter)...
however, i think if the mavs address their big man needs via free agency, that would be the only major move made during the off season

to me, that would be a great start. I would even be satisfied if that was all that happened.
