Yeah, if it's just top 5 that is not even close to ideal. Of course this draft (and last to an extent) have us a bit spoiled. Drafts aren't usually this deep where you can get a franchise altering player all the way down at 7 or 8 (potentially of course). We timed our lean years pretty darn well frankly...

Curious - how well does everyone see Doncic fitting with DSJ? Is it just a decade of 2 PG ball? Can one of them guard SGs?

Next years class sucks compared to this. If it's not a top 5 pick it's not that big of a deal. The top 5 this year would be above all 5 next year or something I read a while back.

Wow. I wanted Doncic but thought it was out of reach. Bamba grew to be my 2nd choice. So I'm excited af.

Trae young is probably gonna be a baller and provide more for Atl than what Doncic could do they got a decent deal.

Bobby Karella's number one pick was Doncic, so I'm very happy about that. His second pick was JJJ, who was going to be picked by Memphis anyway.

Hey, if Doncic is as good as people say, then we'll be golden. Donnie's job rests on this pick for sure. Glad he made it though and not Cuban.
