Go Utah!
If we win the midwest, won't we have homecourt advantage until we face the Kings?

No - we have homecourt until we play a team who had a better regular season record - like the Kings OR the Lakers.

We would have a better record than all but the Kings though if we won the MW right? Or would the Lakers be tied?

We would have a better record than all unless the Lakers win too. We would have identical records and since they hold the tie-breaker, then they would have homecourt.
I was just figuring in a Lakers loss along with a SA loss without thinking.

Holy Shit...what a game.
Damnit, that tony parker hit the dagger.
How could he have gotten to the basket so easily.
Jazz had that game and fucked it up.

Im surprised the Jazz didn't call a timeout and set up something better.
There's enough time but MORE pressure than they need.
TNT is showing bonus coverage.

I figured the Spurs would win before going in, but to see Utah have a chance like that in the end is heartbreaking knowing we had that close of a chance.

Given how they played tonight, our guys did not deserve to win the Midwest.

hmmm
well, given that the spurs have a better record, the mavs didn't deserve to win the midwest..
but i'm not going to say that don't deserve something because of one poor outing in a virtually meaningless game
