Potential Lineups:
Dallas
Kidd/Barea
Stackhouse(resigned)/Nachbar
Howard/Nachbar/George
Dirk/Aldridge/Pops
Diop/Aldridge/DJ
Dallas gets a shooter in Nachbar, and a vetern that can win now in Kidd, lose young players in Ager and Harris, but get a younger bigger player in Aldridge. Dump damp's contract!
New Jersey
Williams/Jack
Carter(resigned?)/House/Ager
Jefferson/Webster
Randolf
Krstic/Dampier
Get younger other than damp, get inside presense they needed in Randolf
Portland
Harris/Terry
Roy/Terry/Buckner
Miles/Outlaw
Magloire?/Miles
Oden/Przbilla
Get a young point guard to play with Oden, will be similar to the Conley/Oden combo, they also dump Randolf finally, maybe they could get a power foward for Miles. Get some veterns in Terry/Buck.
i dunno, prolly sux

Seems fine for Dallas, but I don't see Portland going for it.

Darius Miles is done. Someone was telling me he might retire. His knees are doomed.

I think it'd be fine for portland. They need to dump Alridge now that they'll be getting Oden. Terry/Roy/Harris/Oden sounds like a good idea to me. Although Jason Collins is a joke he shouldn't even be in the league.
I think New Jersey would be the one getting robbed on this deal.
Also the Mavs giving up both guards for a 34 year old? It would have to pay off with a ring like immediately for it to be worth it.

Perhaps Harris and Terry in the backcourt could work better for Portland since they would have Oden up front.
But there's no way Portland would have a problem keeping Aldridge. He's better suited to the power forward spot anyway and Aldridge and Oden could be a very formidible frontcourt for a long time. Much more likely Portland looks to move Randolph.

can aldridge play the 5 spot effectively (defensively and offensively)? if not I dont see why we make this trade..other than to get rid of damp/terry. If we're just looking to dump those two guys get a guy who isnt' just dirk's backup.

Looks decent, I don't see any reason for Portland to do this. They can get much more for Randolph/Aldrige/Jack

The trade that makes the most sense to me is Portland/Seattle.
Seattle -- SNT Lewis to Portland for Randolph
Portland -- Randolf to Portland for SNT Lewis
Seattle:
Ridnour, Allen, Durant, Randolph, Wilcox
Portland:
Jack, Roy, Lewis, Aldridge, Oden
Both teams would have improved significantly.
<edit> Yes I would probably do the trade above to get Aldridge, but I don't see why Portland would do it. Also, Dallas need to keep Harris for SA and PHX.
