Dallas @ OKC 3-02-09 @ 7:00PM CST (8:00PM EST)
I'm doing it, I don't care. We're gonna win anyway. Mavs by 33 in stark contrast of the tight game in Dallas.
Kid catches Magic Johnson and shatters the record for most assists in a 5 game stretch, and it only takes him one game to do it. His line will look like this:
J. Kidd: 9 points, 181 asists, 6 steals, 3 rebounds.

They need to get this S under control in a timely manner tonight, and rest people for the brutal back-to-back coming up Wednesday and Thursday.

Nothing is ever easy when it comes to games like these. OKC is a energetic, scrappy team...you have to watch out for them at home on top of that. Their record isn't great but they do most of their damage with the home crowd behind them.
Hopefully the Mavs can keep this brutal week going in the positive direction.

Don't be over confident, you guys.
They just took us to OT, without their little pipsqueek super star, and they did it in our barn.
Tonight is very winnable as far as OKC is concerned.

It should be exciting, but hopefully it doesn't turn into yet another game to go to the statistic that the Mavs are number one in, games decided by under 5 points.

We'll play better this time around because we know they are without Durant. We should win by 8+ points.

I think we'll win...but we really can't underestimate our competition, especially a young/scrappy team like OKC. Jet coming back is a huge factor and I think that'll pay off more tonight with him getting the rust off a little better in his 2nd game. I know Durant isn't playing but they still play better at home and they might make some adjustments off the recent encounter. You just never know in the NBA.

No Kevin Durant. No Jeff Green.
Jeff Green has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Mavericks with a back injury.
Green had played in every game this year, but Nick Collison will start in his place tonight. Kevin Durant is also out with a sprained ankle, with Kyle Weaver likely to get the start in his place. Durant could be out for a while, but Green is listed as day-to-day with his injury. If you own Russell Westbrook or Thabo Sefolosha, make sure they're in your lineup tonight. Mar. 2 - 12:54 pm et

Wow if Green and Durant are out, this really should be "easy".
Now if both were playing, regardless of OKC's record, they play with great enthusiasm at home and are 6-4 in their last 10.
But really no excuses not to win tonight, we can't get slain by Russel freakin Westbrook and Nenad Kristic, can we?!

I agree. I don't think that Durant/Green missing (and the Mavs knowing this NOW instead of mid-game) causes any sort of perfect storm.
Especially since OKC took them to OT a few nights ago... Mavs crush them tonight.

I suppose OKC playing without Durant is the type of good news the Mavs got when they heard that they were playing the Spurs without Duncan...and others...

I will be attending this game. Kind of convenient being a Mavericks fan that goes to OU in Norman. I can now attend both Mavs and Thunder games relatively easy!
Mavs secure the win sometime in the 3rd and cruise.
118-104 Mavs.

Mavs win 132-89. Singleton puts up 20-20.

If Kidd gets 181 assists, I think we might win by a little more than 33 points...

Mavs struggle to win. Have the Mavs blown anyone out on the road this year? I can't remember. Combine the road woes and the intensity issues and you have a very hard game.

That's twice Kidd has hit the floor, and twice that neither a charging or blocking foul has been called...
