About 50 fans scream in excitement when Bullock hits that 3 at the final buzzer. These are the kind of idiots that attend these games and fuel Cubans shit machine. Lolol.

I?m glad Bullock made that and made it a 2 point game. They said Cuban plans to protest the game after that idiotic play by the refs after the timeout. Curious to see what comes of it.
Has any protest worked? Do they made the teams replay like 1 possession?

Kuminga is a stud. Incredible 2 way player. He needs to get out of the splash brothers shadows at some point.

Cuban protesting a call. We all know that will go well.
Let's try to distract from the reality that is the current team.

Classic Cuban to not have his finger on the pulse of the team. THATS what he's protesting?
Does he really need to see us replay a single posession o determine a game? Everyone BUT Cuban knows exactly how that ends.
How about he protest the coaching hire. Protest the superstar incessant whining. Protest our rebounding and defense. Protest that hack D Harper as an announcer lol. Protest the GD 8 inches between sideline and 3pt line?

They would have to play from the time of the ref handing the ball to GS. So the whole 4th qtr.

Watching the replay of the play before the out of bounds fiasco, Kuminga just rips Luka to the ground by his jersey. How does the ref miss that? The refs are out of control bad. Anything that highlights just how ridiculous it?s gotten is fine with me. Protest away. Do it more often. It costs $10,000.

They will put out an announcement tomorrow to say they messed it up and sorry, but it won't change anything. Won't give us a win and won't change the shitty officiating this year.

Wanting the refs to be better is akin to wanting Cuban to sell the team. Not going to happen. So protesting until you're blue in the face changes nothing.
You can't say you want Luka to stop bitching to the refs when your owner does exactly the same thing.
Yes, refs are awful like every game. Not why we lost IMO.

How the fuck does Mcgee not even sniff the floor with this shit happening on a nightly basis
While rebounding isn?t necessarily a defensive thing, it is connected. The Mavericks are just a small team that gets consistently bullied in the paint. The Warriors had 11 offensive rebounds, leading to ample second-chance opportunities. Dallas played three big men in this game ? Maxi Kleber, Dwight Powell, and Christian Wood. Those three combined for 11 rebounds. Kevon Looney for the Warriors had 12 by himself.
Dallas basically plays every game with one armed tied behind its back.

Refs didn't mess up anything, it's just that our team is this stupid. They signaled Warriors' ball, it's on video. This is just an awful, low-IQ, badly constructed team. I still cannot be that negative though, since Green and Hardy have such nice potential, and we have a 24-year-old Doncic. Honestly, it's not a bad situation, you should just fire Kidd and do a retool around those three.

I ask myself this every game. Like Im just asking for 10 mpg here, Warriors were 28-32 at the rim! THERYE A SMALL TEAM. Mcgee cant alter some of those shots? Dallas makes it so hard on themselves.

You all know the answer to the same question.
I've never thought about just straight up giving up being a Mavs fan since I've been a hard core one since the 90s...
But if Kidd is still coach next season, then I will not be watching. Period. No roster change will change a guy that doesn't believe in calling timeouts for god sakes.
I started disliking Rick towards the end of his tenure, but I always had respect for him. Zero respect for what Kidd has done this season.

Again, beating a dead horse... but Cuban has mismanaged the Mavs pretty egregiously. I think we all know Dirk's loyalty, work ethic, consistency, and all-around greatness carried this franchise for years.
The Brunson contract was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. How do you f that up and allow someone who was basically a FRP hit unrestricted free agency after his first contract?! Donnie and Cuban are idiots for allowing that.
BT is on a clock... if we aren't contending next season, the Luka-to-LA voices are going to get loud.

Luka is the most unlikeable star im the NBA. Complaining and bitching about EVERYTHING. I legit cannot stand watching him play at times..the complete opposite disposition of Dirk. He?s at a CP3 level of bitch on the court. It drives me mad.

I would be ashamed to protest that. The reality is Kidd, his assistants and players were just asleep at the wheel. No attention to detail and the fruits are beginning to ripen. Mavs are just not coached well. That?s the problem. No one in their right mind would say that Kidd is a championship level coach.

Hardy is a baller. Sorry to beat a dead horse, but Mavs aren't far from being legit. It will require a competent coach who challenges Luka and at least one defensive-minded big. Keeping our pick would be a cherry on top. We are 36-37, if we were 35-38 there would be an 80%-ish chance of keeping it.
There are two special defenders in this draft class: Jarace Walker and Cason Wallace. At #10, we would get one of them. Walker, specifically, would be the perfect 4 for us.

I mean it's petty and we have way bigger problems
That is still 100% bullshit. Mavs were told it was there ball. The announcers called it. The scoreboard recorded it. Then without telling anyone, they handed the ball to the Warriors for an easy score. It's unprofessional behavior.
None of that exonerates Kidd, Cuban, or Luka, but both the Mavs and the refs can both be incompetent dicks.

I agree 100%. At the minimum the refs created confusion and then essentially awarded the Warriors 2 pts. That being said, Kidd should have called another time out as soon as he saw the incongruence. That would have provided an opportunity to dispute what was going on. BTW, regardless of the confusion created, was giving the Warriors the ball the correct call? That seems important. There were also several questionable calls in the 3rd and 4th quarter that did not go the Mavs way. All that being said, it is painful to watch Kidd's incompetence. Mavs have played 38 games that ended regulation time with a difference of 6 points or less. They have won half of those games. A really good coach would have better than a .500 record in close games. Moreover, the FO failed to pick up a center/rebounder before the trade deadline or after buy outs. The Mavs are literally last in the NBA in rebounding. Do you really believe you can compete in the playoffs being last in rebounding? Really? The organization is in dire straits, yet they are showing little urgency. Rather, they want to blame the NBA, the refs, and injuries for their lousy season. Truly dysfunctional. Its time to fish or cut bait Cuban. Fix it or sell the team.

I've said this a thousand times
This organization has lived and died with Powell/Kleber as their top two bigs.
No other organization in the league would sit around and continue to roll out that tandem on nightly basis to get destroyed on the glass every single night.
That is the definition of insanity
I also don't think Cuban gives a shit anymore. As long as he gets his sale out crowd's and he can market Luka dude is perfectly satisfied
He only made the kyrie trade to quiet down the outside noise
He has no intentions of retaining Irvin or Wood and I believe that incident with Brunson had cuban written all over it

Just bench Luka and Kyrie and let Hardy and Green have at it. If we win, we win developing them. If we lose, we keep our pick.

I don't think it matters who they play as they'll find ways to mess it up. See my quote in the footer of my posts. ;-)
And btw - I think they go 3-6 to finish the season and their fate will be determined by the success (or lack thereof) of those around them in the standings.

Yep
Doesn't matter who they play
Mavs have lost 13 games when leading by double digits
Which means this team repeatedly finds ways to choke away games

?I can?t say anything bad about Dallas, but obviously I wish things would?ve happened differently,? Brunson said.
I keep telling people cuban is the problem
The dude really isn't the same owner he was 10 years ago

Well we all mostly agree Cuban is the problem at least on here. Just don't watch the HBO Mike Wallace interview where Cuban said he wants it to be a legacy franchise for his family...
Rehashing the Brunson stuff is silly at this point though because Brunson doesn't solve any of our current problems. Our offense didn't fall off at all, in fact, quite the opposite. We went from 15th to 6th in offensive efficiency.
And we drafted Hardy which, if we didn't do that, then I'd be more pissed.

Found this MMB breaking down the effort or lack there of by Luka defensively. Seems like he just doesn't care to play any defense anymore
MMB
And speaking of Doncic, that leads us to the second issue. Effort. Watch Doncic on that play. He doesn?t really do...anything. He doesn?t step up to impede Curry?s path, but he doesn?t stick close to Kuminga, either. Kuminga is shooting 36 percent from deep this season, which is pretty good. But you?d rather him be the one with the ball in his hands, late in the shot clock, with the chance to seal the game, than one of the twenty best players in NBA history.
Doncic doesn?t have to be a great defender for the Mavericks. He carries an incredible load on offense, after all. But he can?t give such low effort in a crucial play of a huge game.

Its so hard to watch now. I?m sorry. All isolations or jacking up three point shots. Then poor defense on the other side of the ball. I want to watch but I feel like I?m wasting my time.
